Setting up SiteClockr on your first site in an afternoon
A practical walkthrough: create your account, add a site geofence, invite workers, and print a QR code — ready for clock-ins tomorrow morning.
You don't need installers, training days, or new hardware. If your crew can use WhatsApp, they can use SiteClockr. Here's a realistic first-afternoon setup.
1. Create your organisation
Sign up at siteclockr.ie — Sole Trader is free forever, or pick Starter/Business for a 21-day trial with no card required. Choose your company name and admin login.
Set your branding if you like: logo and one of the built-in colour themes (including GAA county colours for Irish contractors).
2. Add your first site
Stand on site and capture the geofence from your phone's GPS, drop a pin on the map, or enter an Eircode or UK postcode. Set the radius — 50–100 metres is typical for a building plot.
Generate a QR code from the admin panel, add a title and footer, and print it for the site office or gate.
3. Invite your workers
Add staff from the users screen — include SafePass or CSCS details if you're on a paid plan. Share the site link or ask them to scan the QR code on their first day.
They clock in from the mobile web app. No download from an app store.
4. See who's on site and export hours
The dashboard shows a live "currently clocked in" count, filterable by site or name. Weekly timesheets roll up Monday to Monday and export to CSV for your payroll system.
When you're ready, API keys and webhooks on the Business plan let other tools pull the same data automatically.

Free to start — geofenced clock-in, QR sign-in, and CSV timesheets. Upgrade when the crew grows.
